What it reads
Price, volume and the shape of the order book: where the orders sit, which side has more, and how fast they are being taken. It reads this all the time, on every market it watches.
What it does not do
It never picks a side first and then looks for reasons. It holds no opinion from yesterday, so every reading starts from what the market is doing now.
What comes out
A direction and a confidence, not an order. On its own it decides nothing. It is one of two readings, and the decision comes from weighing the two together.
