You have 7 days after paying to change your mind, wherever you live. Where your own law gives you longer, or starts the clock later, your law applies. If access has not begun by 31 December 2028, you can cancel and get back everything you paid. A refund the law requires is always paid in full.

01Our policy, everywhere
- Reserving is not paying. A reservation is free. Release it at any time and nothing has changed hands.
- 7 days to change your mind. Ask within 7 days of the moment we confirm your payment and we refund you. No reason needed. Clause 5 explains how the money comes back and when a fee applies.
- After those 7 days, before access begins. Your pre-order stays in place until access begins, unless your own law lets you cancel it. Clause 2 says where it does.
- If we miss the date. Access begins no later than 31 December 2028. If it has not begun by the end of that day, you can cancel at any time until it does, and we refund everything you paid, in full, with no fee of any kind. If we decide not to launch, or wind down before launch, we refund everything paid without being asked. That is what we owe you, not a goodwill gesture.
- Money that could not pay for an order. If you paid twice, paid too late for the seats, paid too little and did not top it up, or paid too much, we give back what could not be used: in full by Interac e-Transfer, through Stripe to the card or account that paid, or in USDC less the network fee for crypto, except where your law says it must be free.
- After access begins. Time already available to you on your package is not refunded once your windows have closed, unless your own law says otherwise. Clause 2 lists the places where it does.
02What your own law gives you
Where you live, there is no general legal right to change your mind about a purchase like this, so our 7 days apply.
Where your law gives you a period to change your mind, you get whichever of that period and our 7 days ends later. Where a period counts from the day your access begins, it has not started before then, so your pre-order can be refunded in full at any time until access begins, and for the stated days after.
Separately from any period to change your mind, your law may give you remedies if the software is faulty, is not as described, or is never delivered. Nothing in our terms removes those, and nothing we write here can.

| Saudi Arabia | 7 days, if you have not used the service | purchase | our usual times | we pay it |
| Everywhere else we sell | our 7 days | the moment we confirm your payment | our usual times | you pay it |
“Our usual times” means clause 4. In every place marked “we pay it”, a refund inside that period is also free of our change-of-mind fee on an e-Transfer payment.
What that means in some places
- European Union, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. You have 14 days, starting the day after your purchase, to withdraw for any reason. Use the “Withdraw from contract here” button next to your order in your members portal, or the link in your order email, or write to us, or send the withdrawal form in clause 9. You then confirm with a second button, “Confirm withdrawal”, and we email you a receipt at once showing what you sent and the date and time. A withdrawal sent before the 14 days end is in time, however long we take to process it. We refund you within 14 days, and you pay no fee of any kind. A pre-order has not been delivered, so it stays fully refundable for the whole 14 days. In Germany the buttons read “Vertrag widerrufen” and “Widerruf bestätigen”, and in France “Renoncer au contrat ici” and “Confirmer la rétractation”. In Norway you can also cancel at any time before your access begins; after the 14 days we keep only the network fee for sending a crypto refund.
- United Kingdom, Guernsey and Gibraltar. You have 14 days, starting the day after your purchase, to cancel for any reason, with a full refund within 14 days and no fee. The same button works for you, and so does the withdrawal form in clause 9.
- Jersey and the Isle of Man. You have 7 working days, starting the day after your purchase. If we cannot deliver within the period we agreed, we must tell you and refund you in full within 30 days.
- Monaco. You have 7 clear days (jours francs) from your purchase. We refund you within 30 days.
- Turkey. You have 14 days from purchase. If we miss the date we promised, you can end the contract and get a full refund. If you hold a package longer than a year, you can end it at any time: before access begins for a full refund, and after it begins for the unused part.
- Israel. You have 14 days, counted from your purchase or from the day you receive our written disclosure, whichever is later. We send the disclosure when you buy. The law would let us keep up to 5% or 100 shekels, whichever is lower; we keep nothing except the network fee for sending a crypto refund. You can cancel online or by email.
- Georgia, Serbia, Ukraine and the Western Balkans. You have 14 days from purchase to withdraw, or 15 in Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Ukraine the days count from our written confirmation of the order. For Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Ukraine, this rests on reported summaries of the law rather than the statute itself, so treat it as a good guide rather than as advice.
- South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand. Your 7 days start on the day your access begins, not when you pay. Until then, your pre-order can be refunded in full at any time. In South Korea we refund within 3 business days of your request.
- Brazil. You have 7 days to withdraw. For a pre-order, we count them from the day your access begins, so until 7 days after that you can have everything back. We refund at once, adjusted for inflation. You can withdraw the same way you bought: from your members portal.
- Argentina. You have 10 days to revoke your purchase, counted from the day your access begins, or from your purchase if that is later. The right ends once you have actually used the service. Use the “Withdraw from contract here” button on your order in your members portal. We send you a request code within 24 hours, by the same route you used.
- Uruguay. You have 5 business days, counted from your purchase or from the day your access begins, whichever you choose. So until 5 business days after access begins, you can have everything back.
- Ecuador. You have 3 days after your access begins to give the service back.
- Chile. You have 10 days from purchase to withdraw. We refund within 45 days, with no deductions.
- Colombia. You have 5 business days from purchase to withdraw (derecho de retracto). We refund within 15 days.
- Mexico. You have 5 business days from purchase.
- Costa Rica. You have 8 business days from purchase. We refund within 8 days.
- South Africa. You have 7 days from purchase. After that you can still cancel a pre-order at any time before access begins. We keep nothing except the network fee for sending a crypto refund. If we miss the date, there is no charge at all.
- Saudi Arabia. You have 7 days from purchase, if you have not used the service. Here, this rests on reported summaries of the law rather than the statute itself, so treat it as a good guide rather than as advice.
- Nigeria. You can cancel a pre-order at any time before access begins. We keep nothing except the network fee for sending a crypto refund.
- Kenya. If your access has not begun within 30 days after 31 December 2028, the law lets you cancel at any time before it begins and get your money back. Our own promise in clause 1 gives you that from 1 January 2029.
- Canada. Our 7 days apply; no province gives a general right to change your mind about an online purchase. If your access has not begun within 30 days after 31 December 2028, your province’s law also lets you cancel at any time before it begins, and we refund you within 15 days (30 in Manitoba). Our own promise in clause 1 gives you that from 1 January 2029. If we did not give you the information your province requires, or a copy of your contract within 15 days, you may have a further right to cancel. Pre-orders are not sold in Quebec.
- United States. No federal or state law gives a period to change your mind about a purchase like this, so our 7 days apply. In Ohio, you can ask for a refund at any time before access begins, and we will refund you. In California, if we cannot deliver by the date we stated, we will refund you, or tell you about the delay and refund you on request.
- Australia. Our services come with rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. For a major failure, you can cancel and get a refund. If we do not supply by the date we stated, you are entitled to a refund. Our 7 days are in addition to those rights.
- New Zealand. Your statutory rights as a consumer apply to what we supply, and nothing here takes them away.
- Japan. There is no legal period to give back a service like this, so this policy is the one that applies to you. It is shown again on the final screen before you pay.
- Switzerland. If we miss the date, you can give us a reasonable extra period to deliver, and then withdraw and get your money back.
- Singapore, Hong Kong and India. If we cannot supply by the date we stated, you are entitled to a refund.
- Vietnam. If the information we gave you before you bought was wrong or incomplete, you can end the contract within 30 days. After access begins, you can end a continuing service at any time, paying only for what you have used.
- Peru. Our 7 days apply. Questions, complaints and refund requests go to our support address.
03How to ask
- If you paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link. Stripe sold that payment, through Link, LLC, a Stripe company, so Stripe handles its refunds and withdrawals as the seller, with the rights this policy and your law give you. Your order page in the members portal links you to Stripe for it, and so does Stripe's receipt. Money back on a card payment always goes through Stripe.
- From your members portal. Open your orders, choose the order, and press Ask for a refund. Choose all of it or some of the packages in it. For a crypto order, give the USDC address and network you want the refund sent to (clause 5). An e-Transfer order needs nothing more.
- The withdrawal button. Every crypto or e-Transfer order still inside a window shows a “Withdraw from contract here” button, wherever you live. It asks you to confirm your name, the order and the email for your receipt, then “Confirm withdrawal”. We email you a receipt straight away with what you sent, the date and time, and a reference that starts with W.
- By email. Write to us with your order number and say you want your money back. Inside a window we do not ask for a reason and we do not put a form in your way.
- Argentina: use the “Withdraw from contract here” button on your order in your members portal. Israel: you can also cancel by email.
Refunds and billing: billing@aton-network.org
Inside any window, or once the missed-date right applies, a request is always approved.
04How long it takes
- We review every request within 2 business days. Stripe handles a card refund on its own timetable, within the times your law sets.
- We send the money within 3 business days of approving it.
- If your law sets a shorter time, we meet that instead. The table in clause 2 shows those times.
- Business days are Monday to Friday, except public holidays in British Columbia.
- A card refund usually shows on your statement within 5 to 10 business days of Stripe sending it, depending on your bank.
- Your order page shows where your refund has got to, and we email you when it is sent. Your refund confirmation is a PDF you can keep.
05How your money comes back
If you paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link
- By Stripe, the seller, to the card or account that paid. Ask through the link on your order page or on Stripe's receipt.
- No fee from us. We add no change-of-mind fee or any other fee of ours to a card refund.
- If your card has expired or been replaced, your bank normally passes the refund to the new one.
If you paid in crypto
- In USDC. Every crypto payment is turned into USDC when it arrives, and refunds are paid in USDC. You agree to this at checkout, before you pay.
- To an address you name. When you ask, you give us a USDC address and choose a network from our list. We do not send refunds back to the address you paid from, because we often cannot see it, and it is often an exchange's shared address rather than yours. Use an address you control: some exchanges do not credit deposits sent this way.
- How much. We refund the USDC your payment became when it arrived, or that share of it for part of an order, whatever the market has done since. Its value in Canadian dollars on the day you receive it may be more or less than you paid.
- The network fee. Sending USDC costs a network fee of about 0.10 to 1.50 USDC, depending on the network you choose. It comes out of the refund, except where the law where you live says a refund must be free (every place marked “we pay it” in the table in clause 2), for a refund inside that law's period, and for any refund the law requires, including a missed access date. Then we pay it.
- For example: if your payment became 380.43 USDC and you ask for all of it back on Solana, we send 380.43 USDC and the network fee (about 0.50 USDC) comes out, so about 379.93 USDC arrives. Where your refund is free, 380.43 USDC arrives.
- Checks. We check your address is valid for the network you chose before we send. Please check it too: a refund sent to the address you gave cannot be recalled. If the fee would leave less than the network's minimum, a person will contact you to sort it out.
If you paid by Interac e-Transfer
- In Canadian dollars, by e-Transfer, to the email address on your order.
- The change-of-mind fee. A refund because you changed your mind carries a fee of 5.9% of the amount refunded, plus $0.90. It is shown to you, and you accept it, before you pay. It is never charged where the law where you live says a refund must be free: every place marked “we pay it” in the table in clause 2. For example, on a refund of $525.00 the fee is $31.88 (5.9% of $525.00 is $30.975, rounded to $30.98, plus $0.90), and we send you $493.12. Your refund confirmation shows the arithmetic.
06A refund the law requires is always paid in full
If the law where you live gives you the refund (a legal period to change your mind where the law says a refund must be free, a missed access date, or a cancellation right in your province or country), we pay it in full: no e-Transfer fee, and we pay the crypto network fee ourselves. Our fees apply only to refunds we give by choice.
07Refunding part of an order
- You can ask for some of the packages in an order, or all of them.
- For Deep Freeze and Absolute Zero, the seats go back to your country's share, and we take back the most recently numbered memberships in that order first.
- A lasting discount stays while you still hold at least one of that package, and ends when you no longer do.
- Tax comes back in proportion to what is refunded.
08What this policy does not cover
Your rights under your own law apply to everything below.
- Time already used on a package after your windows have closed, unless your law says otherwise.
- An account we closed because you broke the terms, where the breach is the reason. Before access begins, we still refund packages not yet supplied.
- Trading losses. Those are the market, not a fault in the software, and no refund policy anywhere covers them. See the risk disclosure.
- The difference in price after you prove where you live. Prices are set by country, so we cannot set yours until a Bedrock proof of address tells us where you live. If you buy at band A and the price for your country turns out to be lower, we do not refund the difference, unless you are still inside the period your own law gives you to change your mind. Prove where you live first if you would rather not find out.
09Withdrawal form
For the European Union, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, the United Kingdom, Guernsey, Gibraltar and the other places that use it. You do not have to use this form. The button in clause 3, or any clear statement, works just as well. The same form comes with your order confirmation.
Model withdrawal form
(Complete and send this form only if you wish to withdraw from the contract.)
To: Atheron Network Inc., 1631 Dickson Ave., Suite 1100, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 0B5, CA, billing@aton-network.org
I/We (*) hereby give notice that I/We (*) withdraw from my/our (*) contract for the provision of the following service (*):
Ordered on (*):
Name of consumer(s):
Address of consumer(s):
Signature of consumer(s) (only if this form is sent on paper):

(*) Delete as appropriate.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Atheron Network Inc., 1631 Dickson Ave., Suite 1100, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 0B5, CA, billing@aton-network.org) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement (for example, a letter sent by post or email), or by using the “Withdraw from contract here” button next to your order in your members portal or in your order email. You may use the model withdrawal form above, but it is not obligatory. If you paid by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link, Stripe sold that payment and refunds it: you may also withdraw through the link to Stripe on your order page.
To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.
We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction: through Stripe, the seller of that payment, to the card or account that paid for a card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Link payment, and by Interac e-Transfer for an e-Transfer payment. For a crypto payment, we will carry out such reimbursement in USDC, to a USDC address you give us, as you expressly agreed at checkout. In any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.
