Why prices vary by country
Set by your country
Countries are placed in bands against the World Bank income classification, which is published and revised every year, so anyone can look up why their country sits where it does.
Your band follows your country of residence, set once when you first sign in. It does not change when you travel.
Ten per cent off for verifying
Everyone proves their age and where they live before they can buy, because where we may sell depends on it. Verify your identity in full, with a government document and a live photo, and you get another ten per cent off.
Fully verified customers cost us less to serve, with fewer disputed payments and less work checking who someone is, so we pass that saving on.
You can verify when you first register, or wait until you buy. The discount holds for the whole pre-order period and the first year after launch. What we collect, and how long we keep it, is in the privacy notice.

Subscription figures are per month at the monthly rate, in CAD, and every price is rounded up to a whole dollar. Tax is added at checkout, from where you live.
